Where to eat

There are so many beautiful restaurants along the marina, but these are our favourites. All of them will need a booking — it’s busy season.

Il Lampario

Italian.

Il Trio

Italian.

Rare Steakhouse

Best steak in the marina, caters for big groups or couples. A must if you love your steak.

Gorgeous Mexican restaurant on the marina.

Mai Thai

Amazing Thai food — you won’t be disappointed.

Social

Nice authentic local tapas. A little outside the main area, maybe a ten minute walk, but very nice and books out quickly.

Purobeach

Great for lunch at the beach.

NoSoloÁgua

At Praia da Falésia — a lovely beach bar a little further up the beach. Good vibes and a great selection of food: sushi, burgers and more.

Noa

Great café for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Lots of healthy options.

The Argo

Fancy, expensive cocktail bar in the five-star Tivoli looking over the marina. Worth a visit.

Evening and nightlife

Great Irish bars everywhere you look — we have no doubt ye will find them easily. O’Neills, O’Sheas and The Brewery to get ye started!
